AI Building AI: How Dazos Is Using Claude Code to Supercharge Development

The future of software development isn’t just about writing better code — it’s about building smarter. At Dazos, we’ve always been at the forefront of innovation, and today we’re excited to share one of the most significant internal shifts in our company’s history: we are now using Claude Code, Anthropic’s AI-powered coding tool, to dramatically accelerate the way we build, ship, and evolve our platform.

A New Era of Development at Dazos

The traditional software development cycle is long. Features take weeks. Products take months. Testing, reviewing, iterating — every step adds time between an idea and its delivery to you, our users.

We asked ourselves: What if AI could do for development what it’s already doing for so many other industries?

The answer was Claude Code — and the results have been nothing short of transformative

What Is Claude Code?

Claude Code is an agentic AI coding assistant built by Anthropic that works directly in the development environment. It doesn’t just autocomplete lines of code — it reasons, plans, writes full features, debugs complex issues, and executes multi-step engineering tasks with minimal human intervention.

Think of it less like a tool and more like a highly skilled engineering collaborator that never sleeps, never gets blocked, and gets faster every day.

What This Means for Dazos

By integrating Claude Code into our core development workflow, we are projecting productivity increases of 5x to 20x over the coming months. That’s not a typo.

Here’s what that looks like in practice:

  • More releases, faster. Features and improvements that once took weeks are now being built and shipped in days — sometimes hours.
  • A surge in new products. Our roadmap has expanded dramatically. We now have the development capacity to pursue ideas and builds that previously weren’t feasible within our timelines.
  • Higher quality output. With AI handling more of the repetitive and structural coding tasks, our human engineers are freed up to focus on architecture, creativity, and the higher-level decisions that make Dazos products exceptional.
  • Smarter iteration. Claude Code helps us move through feedback cycles faster, meaning your input and the changes you want to see get implemented more rapidly than ever before.

The Competitive Landscape Is Shifting — And Dazos Is Already Ahead

We’re aware that we’re not the only ones in the behavioral health CRM space paying attention to what AI can do. There are likely competitors — some new, some established — who are beginning to explore building CRM platforms from the ground up using tools like Claude Code.

And here’s the thing: we welcome that energy. It validates the direction the industry is heading.

But there’s a critical difference between a company starting from zero with AI and a company like Dazos deploying AI on top of 8 years of purpose-built, battle-tested behavioral health software.

Starting from scratch with Claude Code is impressive. But you still have to build the trust, the workflows, the compliance infrastructure, the user experience, and the deep domain knowledge that Dazos has spent nearly a decade refining with real customers, real clinicians, and real outcomes.

A brand-new platform built by AI is still a brand-new platform. Dazos is an 8-year-old platform now supercharged by AI.

That’s not a small gap. That’s a canyon.

Our core system — already one of the most robust and feature-rich CRMs in behavioral health — is now the foundation that Claude Code continuously improves, expands, and evolves at a pace no from-scratch competitor can match. They’re building a runway. We’re already in the air.

AI Is Now Part of Our DNA

This isn’t just a productivity hack — it’s a fundamental shift in how Dazos operates. We are building AI-powered products using AI. The same intelligence that powers the tools we create is now embedded in the process of creating them.

We believe this puts Dazos in a rare position: a company that is simultaneously advancing AI capabilities for our users and leveraging those capabilities internally to outpace traditional development cycles entirely.

What to Expect From Us

In the coming months, you can expect:

✅ A significant increase in the frequency of new feature releases

✅ Faster bug fixes and platform improvements

✅ New product launches at a pace you haven’t seen from us before

✅ A Dazos platform that evolves continuously alongside your needs

We’re just getting started. The integration of Claude Code marks the beginning of a new chapter for Dazos — one where the pace of innovation matches the ambition of our vision.

Stay tuned. We’re building fast — and we’re building for you.
